Engagement Ready

I always mention how bridal expo’s is such a great introduction to start engagement sessions + wedding planning for any couple. It can be a bit overwhelming to see all the available venues, I know. But it is worth it to know what options you have, along with whom you can connect with. In this case, a bridal expo is exactly how Micaelia and I connected. The connection did not stop there. I had a feeling her name sounded like my people (Jamaican) lol. Ironically, I was right being she confirmed she is Jamaican! Nevertheless, they were engagement session ready. I am thrilled to be apart of the beginning of their love journey.

Location, Location

We did two separate locations for Micaelia + Nate’s engagement session. Both looks were eye catching. The scenery is a whole other topic. Let’s talk about the first location which is Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart Church in Newark, New Jersey. This is a church I have done before but every time I go back, the architecture continues to blow me away. The views is scenic. The church is iconically beautiful with many vibes. This church is famous for its depiction of gothic architecture in India along with its brilliant stained glass panels.

Connection

The second photoshoot session is TYRP Hotel by Wyndham Newark Downtown New Jersey. TYRP is somewhere I tend to always get great photos but Micaelia + Nate brought the vibes. We had a great time! The images were classy with a touch of glamour. Another way we bonded is through blogging. Micaelia is a Christian blogger which is another connection where we relate on many levels.

Wedding Day Ready

During the zoom calls leading up to the engagement session, they were cool vibes and great people. You can hear the love and connection they have. Their love for God is something I enjoyed as well. After the engagement session, they absolutely loved her photos and ready to book their wedding. I am pleased to say I can not wait for their wedding day being they are a pleasure and such a chill, loving couple!
