The vibes at The W Loft in Brooklyn, NY for Kirrah + Manny’s Wedding Day was everything and more. There are so many things I liked working with Kirrah + Manny. From the very start, Kirrah paid attention to detail. She would always reach out via email to see if I needed anything or to let me know what she needed. She always responded and never missed a beat. Long story short, she kept me on my toes lol Ironically she has a gift and passion to be a wedding planner. Kirrah now wants to pursue it on the side. It was cool to witness this gift blossom throughout her wedding journey!
Creative Freedom
What won me over with Kirrah + Manny is when I told them I wanted to do their engagement shoot at a loft at a peerspace in NY, they were down. I loved that they followed my creative direction. It allowed me to be a photographer and have creative control. What put the cherry on top is how thoughtful they were when I needed it the most. During one of our calls, I mentioned that I like chocolate croissants and hot white mocha at Star Bucks. The day of their engagement shoot, it was raining and I could not find parking because “New York be New Yorkin” lol When I arrived to the shoot, Manny handed me a chocolate croissant with a hot white mocha. I appreciated that moment. It was such a nice gesture!
The W Loft Wedding + Vibes
Their wedding was intimate and colorful. It was fruit colored themed which is so cute and complimentary being that their wedding guest was about 50 people. It was dope seeing the groom wear a rich blue while the grooms men wore orange. Absolutely loved the coloring arrangements. They also played Haitian music. Although I am Jamaican, I have a piece of Haiti in my heart, so I love Kompa. The vibe was great as well. In fact, Kirrah told me to put my camera down to come dance on the dance floor. I put on the wedding survey that I would dance. She made sure I kept my word lol
