Cora and Malachi’s engagement shoot went perfect. I am truly honored that they trusted me to capture a piece of their love story. Meeting Cora and Malachi was truly unique. They both wanted New York vibes for their engagement session, so of-course I had to make that happen for them. For their engagement session, we decided to do two locations. Stay tuned to hear how I was introduced to this beautiful couple from Texas!

1st Location

I was introduced to Cora + Malachi in a unique way being they were referred by a friend of mine and traveled from Texas. Malachi is originally from New Jersey and wanted to visit with his now fiancé. When I connected with Cora + Malachi via zoom, we found that they were fans of New York and wanted that vibe for their engagement session. We had a great connection and seamless communication, which is what made choosing locations a breeze. For the 1st location, we decided to do New York Public Library in NY. I love doing shoots here, so anytime a couple is willing to try it out, I know it is a great choice. This location is always classy and compliments couples outfits. This is whether formal or casual being the building is a beautiful off-white color. This is the location where we decided to do formal outfits. As you can you see, they look amazing in this scenery.

2nd Location

For the second location, we initially wanted to do The Grand Central Station. Although we would have had great pictures there, the area was crowded and busy at the time. So I suggested Metlife Building in NY. This would be my first time shooting there and I am so glad I did. The Metlife Building is clean, spacious and gave a simple but powerful vibe. We decided to do casual outfits at this location. We also stepped outside for some shoots of city life. Malachi wanted to propose to Cora during the engagement session, but decided to propose prior. I believe he proposed a couple days before the shoot. So they were freshly engaged, which was even more exciting too, because it’s just good times to capture. 

The Love Story Continues …

Cora + Malachi is such a beautiful young couple, I can tell they were a bit shy at first. Once they started taking more photos, I feel like they became more open. Before you knew it, they were starting to feel a more comfortable as well. It’s always nice seeing the progression of a couple become more comfortable with the camera. Plus they were naturals, you can tell their chemistry is naturally full of love. When they got their photos, they were ecstatic. They were like “Definitely booking you for the wedding”! lol. Their wedding will most likely will be in Texas. I am looking forward to their wedding and can not wait to be apart of yet another special moment in their love story. So stay tuned!
