Connection

Sumayyah and Yasim is a couple that I can personally say I have such an amazing relationship with. I can’t say enough how ideal it is to have a couple you connect well with. With that being said, it is no surprise that the engagement session was a pleasant experience. We connected due to a referral by a family or friend of theirs. Can we take a moment to acknowledge that I am referred by others based off my work or working with me? What a blessing. Also, a huge shoutout to that family or friend lol. Because of them, we were able to meet and our connection is such a vibe to this day.

Chemistry

When we were on our first zoom call, we connected right away and shared so many laughs. We also noticed we shared the same values in relation to having a good photographer with great chemistry on wedding day. Sumayyah and Yasim understood the major role a photographer plays on wedding day, as well as how they can benefit from taking great pictures, based off the comfortability a photographer creates. This leads to why the engagement session is key, leading up to wedding day.

Engagement Session Chemistry

Sumayyah and Yasim’s engagement session was held at this Peer Space located in New York, NY. The vibe matched them so well. You can tell in the photos how well the peer space complimented them and set the tone perfectly. The engagement session solidified the great connection we already knew we had. This is why I believe engagement sessions is key to wedding day feeling more at ease. This way, on the day of the wedding, no one feels like strangers. Instead you have a sense of comfort when you are a good fit with your photographer.

Wedding Day Approaching

Speaking of wedding day, Sumayyah + Yasim’s wedding day is approaching. I am ecstatic and honored that I am photographing their special day. Sumayyah recently commented on my recent Instagram post and it was the sweetest. She voiced how she cared so much for the connection and the impact it made on her choosing KB Visualz thus far. I can proudly say the feeling is very mutual. Sumayyah + Yasim also told me they want me to be a guest at the wedding, although I am their photographer. They offered for me to stay after the wedding to party with them. And how can I say no to that lol There is so much to look forward to with these two!
