Wedding Expo Connection

I have mentioned how amazing Wedding Expo’s are but have I mentioned how great it is for couple engagement sessions? It is also a great way for couples to make personal connections especially during the early engagement or wedding planning stages. In this case, a wedding expo is exactly how I met Andrea + Jeff! I had great giveaways in which Andrea + Jeff had the opportunity to win a free engagement session. We were gladly in communication ever since!

Couple Engagement Session + Locations

One thing I loved about this engagement session is Andrea + Jeff were open and flexible with location and outfit looks. They were creative with their outfit choices as well. They decided to recreate the day of their proposal by wearing that same outfit for their casual look. I thought that was so sweet and creative. They shared this look at Kingsland Park in Nutley, NJ which was where we started the engagement session. The engagement session went really well! I can tell they were a little nervous at first but through our connection and chit chat, they were naturals. It turned out to be fun and this helped them get more comfortable with taking pictures together.

Outfit Look Vibes

For their formal attire look, we went to a different location. It was outdoors close by Newark Museum in Newark, NJ. This is one of my favorite places to shoot. The photos came out very nice, as I imagined it would. I love when couples are able to do two outfit looks. One being casual and the other, formal. This is because you get to truly see how a couple is and how well they compliment each other.
