I had such a great time photographing this bomb engagement session at Liberty State Park in Jersey City, New Jersey. As a NJ Wedding Photographer, I love photographing here. It’s like a city vibe without having to cross the bridge lol. There is nothing better than finding a beautiful location with a couple that came dress to impress lol. I always love when clients have their cute/cozy complimentary outfits followed up with cute & classy attire.

Deja & Lesean have been together for over 10 years. I actually went to middle school with De’Ja and met Lesean later on working together. When they asked me to photograph their engagement photos, I was super excited. First, I was excited that they were getting married of course, then just exited to have the honor to be the one they called on to photograph these beautiful images of them taking the next step in their journey. Engagements are the key to a door you walk through that takes you to a world of forever no matter how it ends. I love LOVE, and when I actually know the couple, it makes it even better.

I love photographing couples because there is this ease I feel during the session. I don’t like to do too many “posy” poses because there usually isn’t a need. The natural connection between two love birds during their Engagement Session speaks for itself. They usually fall into positions that are natural to them and I tell them this at the beginning of the session.
